Young Lawyers Section: Connections, February 2018
The Young Lawyers Section kicked off the New Year at Natty Greene’s last month. During the event, we raised over $300 for the Book Buddies program at Hampton Elementary School. Thank you everyone for the support! Please see the following upcoming events for YLS members:
4All Statewide Service Day – Greensboro. YLS is excited to partner with Piedmont Triad Women Attorneys to recruit attorney volunteers to take calls during the 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. shift on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Volunteer Center of Greensboro, located at 1500 Yanceyville St. YLS is providing pizza for the volunteers during this shift. Lunch & Learn with Justin Outling. YLS is pleased to announce a Lunch & Learn event featuring local attorney and Greensboro City Council Member, Justin Outling at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Topics will include recent developments in Greensboro and how Justin’s legal background provides him with a unique perspective on public service. Smith Moore Leatherwood is hosting this Lunch & Learn in their Greensboro office located at 300 N. Greene St., Suite 1400, and lunch will be provided.
