Elder Abuse CLE

Paul Greenwood, an internationally recognized expert on the prosecution of elder abuse, will speak to an interprofessional audience about the growing problem of Elder Abuse and Exploitation and the role that professionals in nearly every discipline can play to prevent and resolve this problem.  Registration for the event is FREE, but space is limited.  Please register online here (www.trla.info/paulgreenwood).  Certificates of attendance will be provided for all who register in advance.  Application has been made for both CLE and CEU credit.  Free parking will be available in the Oakland parking deck and a light breakfast will be provided.  For more information about Paul Greenwood, and for additional details about the event, please visit the the registration website.

Triad Legal Geeks Meet-up

The Law Practice Management and Technology Section of the North Carolina Bar Association, in conjunction with the Greensboro Bar Association, is happy to announce that our next Triad Legal Geeks Meet-up is Tuesday, June 24th at Geeksboro Coffeehouse Cinema starting at 6:00 pm. Anyone who is a member of the Greensboro Bar Association or North Carolina Bar Association is invited.

We have reserved the entire theater and will be showing Merlin Mann’s Inbox Zero Google Tech Talk followed by a general discussion on handling e-mail and other electronic communications.  Refreshments will be provided.  Attendance is free so please bring someone else from your office if you feel they could benefit from the video and discussion.  We hope to see you there!
